I worked with Florence over many years. She was not in my direct team but we connected because of her gentleness, thoughtfulness and kindness. Whenever I went into the office she would smile and chat and brighten my day. Florence was even known to my children. Each year at Christmas she would send them a gift of a wooden calendar with a prayer and a blessing. She was so thoughtful and her faith was spread in kind and gentle ways. We spoke of her faith and I know it gave her great strength. Florence was a wonderful person to have in our department. She will be missed. She will be remembered with great fondness .
